Alternative Halloween Activities
Many people may not feel comfortable welcoming strangers to their doorsteps, no matter what type of mask the little goblins (and their parents) are wearing.
Here are some fun alternative activities you can do at home instead:
Set up a piñata for your children in your own year.
Have a pumpkin carving contest.
Create a haunted house for your children at home. They can still dress up and be scared in a fun way.
Create a scavenger hunt inside your home or in your backyard.
Scary movies and ghost stories can make the night fun, too. Get out the popcorn, Halloween candy and blankets and find a movie on Netflix.
If you still want to welcome trick-or-treaters in a safer way, you can leave a bowl of candy and hand sanitizer at the end of your driveway and wave to people as they stop by!
