It can be hard for us to accept compliments. But studies have shown that getting compliments can decrease stress and encourage healthy habits.

Here are a few ways to accept compliments and be more positive when you receive feedback:

  1. Keep it short. A simple "thank you" is enough!

  2. Make a habit of celebrating the small stuff.

  3. Keep a record of your big accomplishments.

  4. When you receive a compliment, try not to undermine it.

  5. Regularly give compliments to others. It will make them (and you) feel good!
