Mental Health Check-Up
We all have a rough day from time to time, but sometimes stress starts to take a toll on your mental health. If any of the symptoms below occur for more than a few weeks, it’s time to get a check-up for you mind.
Grouchiness. Arguing more or blowing up over small things can be a sign of a mental or emotional issue.
Sleeplessness. Many of us don’t get enough sleep, but if a doctor rules out a medical condition, it’s time to talk to professional who can explore mental or emotional causes.
Isolation. One of the first signs of depression is when someone stops interacting with people or on social media.
Eating more or less. Major changes in eating habits could be signs of stress or emotional eating.
Can’t relax. A constantly racing mind can be signs of anxiety. It often goes undiagnosed since it shows up in physical symptoms like headaches, tight shoulders, upset stomach, and breathing problems.
