If the list is extremely long and filled with ingredients too complicated to understand, look for a more natural alternative. Ingredients are listed in order of quantity within the product. If sugar is the first ingredient listed, that means that sugar is a big component of that item. Look for items with fewer ingredients, including items that can be easily pronounced and understood!
