Replace Self-Doubt With Confidence
We've all heard the phrase "fake it 'til you make it", but numerous studies back up the fact that "faking it' actually improves your chances of making it. The more you pretend to know what you're doing, the more you actually know what you're doing, which only boosts your confidence.
Focus on mindfulness, not perfection. Mindfulness helps you learn to stay present, participate in regulating our own nervous system, and eventually developing helpful ways of interacting. Start by noticing when you're provoked, like when you start sweating or feel your heart rate go up. Then become aware of every manageable thing happening to your body and focus on being present. The point here is to focus on the things you can change and ignore what's outside of your influence. Doing this will help you find confidence in yourself and what you're doing.
