Kick Back and Relax!

There’s nothing more comforting than knowing you have some extra time off to enjoy the summer sun. Even though this is traditionally a weekend of summer fun, cooking out and outdoor activities, it’s important for your health to take some time and relax. Here are some tips and ideas on how you can sit back and relax!

Read in a hammock – take some quiet time to lay back and escape into a new story

Go for an evening walk – watch the sunset while you take a walk around your neighborhood. Try unplugging while you walk, leave the headphones at home!

Sit by a lake/ocean – if you live near a body of water, take a few minutes for yourself and just listen to the waves crash on the beach.

Plant some flowers – Gardening is a great way to relax while keeping your hands busy! Plant some festive flowers to brighten your home and quiet your mind.

Go for a swim – Do a few leisurely laps, or just float for a bit. Listen to the calm water and let your worries drift away.
