Indulge To Get Recharged

Feeling drained mentally and physically is common after a busy week. Here are several inexpensive indulgences to help feel restored and refreshed:

Dark Chocolate. An ounce of dark chocolate a day can lower blood pressure, increase blood flow and improve good cholesterol.

Scent of Lavender. Breathing essential oils, like lavender, can lift mood.

Get a Manicure. This is not only relaxing, but being pampered can improve self-esteem.

Rent a Comedy. Laughing relieves stress, increases immunity, improves blood flow and stabilizes blood pressure.

Stretch. This eases tired muscles, increases flexibility, improves circulation and soothes away stress.

Sleep-In. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night to ward off fatigue.

Get a Chair Massage. A massage reduces stress hormones, lowers anxiety and helps your body release endorphins.

Go for a Walk. Light exercise, such as walking, not only has health benefits, but it helps reduce stress and anxiety.
