Declutter for the Holidays

Clutter can be a chronic source of stress. When you add on the stress of the holidays, you may find yourself feeling anxious, helpless or overwhelmed during at time that should be filled with joy and happiness. Clutter is one of the easiest stressors to fix.

Here are a few items to get rid of before the holidays to help declutter your home:

  • Decorations you haven't used in 2+ years

  • Sentimental holiday cards

  • Outgrown toys

  • Unused gifts

  • Old towels and linens

  • Clothes you haven't worn in 1+ years

  • Paper piles - magazines, mail, newspapers, etc.

  • Multiple kitchen tools

  • Anything broken or un-useable
