STOP WASTING TIME

There are only so many hours in the day and trying to get everything accomplished on the days to-do list can be challenging. Learning better time management will help with to not waste time.

Figure Out Your Goals - Identity big picture goals and break them down to smaller tasks so they can be achieved easier.

Keep Track – Monitor how long it takes to complete regular tasks. This will help manage your time and schedule.

Prioritize – Group to do lists items into buckets – Urgent, Important and Not Urgent/Important – to identify what needs to be completed first.

Is it Worth Your Time – Decide if the time spent on a task fits into your big picture goals.

Don’t Procrastinate - It may be difficult to start a project, but once there is a little progress, momentum with build.

Stick to the Schedule – Though it’s not always realistic to adhere to slotted times for work, chores and family time, doing so will make for better work-life balance.

Schedule Time for Fun – Life is not all about work and chores. Make time for exercise, reading, lounging, even vacations – especially when an important task or goal is completed!
